Project Name: Gromit Unleashed
Client: Grand Appeal
Year: 2014

Gromit Unleashed was a public charity arts trail, led by Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal, around the city of Bristol. Artists had the chance to submit designs to decorate a select number of the fibre-glass moulded statues. My design 'Malago' was part of this trail.

I submitted an idea for a Gromit, called 'Malago', which paid tribute to the history of the region in Bristol, where the river Malago got it's name. Malago stood out from the urban crowds with his natural wavey vibrant lines, which symbolised the flow of the river. Malago went on to raise a staggering £24,000 for the charity in the grand auction, which ended the event.
